Morgan Innovation move to new larger premises
After 20 years in Liss, Hampshire Morgan had expanded as much as it could on its Rake Heath House site. In 1991 Morgan occupied the first floor of one of the 5 units by the end of 2010 it occupied 3 of the five units and was still cramped. So the decision was taken to move into the Business Park in Petersfield.
The move started on Friday January 21 and by Wednesday 26 production had started again and by the end of the month the Company was once again fully operational.
The new premises are over twice the size of the old, and Morgan has taken the opportunity of installing ESD flooring, environmentally
friendly heat exchange heating and air conditioning and daylight lighting.
The Company took the opportunity of the move to rebrand. As a name Morgan Automation had stood the Company well but it was felt that a more modern name was required hence Morgan Innovation & Technology Ltd. Together with the new name came a new logo, emphasising the Company’s many areas of expertise and experience.
